IHS, LLC was founded by two friends who have been in the nutrition industry for over 30 years. They have worked at some of the most well known and recognized companies in the industry and have long stood for quality without compromise. They have developed some of the most successful and reputable brands and products being sold today. A few years ago they began discussing what was missing in the industry - they both agreed it was innovation. In the early years of the nutritional industry, young brash and confident entrepreneurs emerged as leaders, innovators and founders of what is today known as the sports nutrition category. As the industry grew and these innovators sold their companies to large conglomerates, major corporations, investment banking groups and large food giants, the innovation stopped. Research and development all but ceased to exist. Terry Giles, one of the co-founders of IHS, LLC was one of these nutrition industry pioneers, having developed, created and formulated the well known brands and products under Cybergenics, Iron-Tek and MET-Rx (just to name a few). along with friend and fellow co-founder Randy Olshen, (who ran many of the top manufacturing companies that manufactured product for Terry under these brands) both decided that there was a need for real products, products formulated based on the latest science and research for specific physiological purpose, products that worked, products that were not “knock-offs” or just more of the same me-too type products with more marketing hype than actual nutritional substance. They decided it was time for something new - and this time they would own the company. Their creed is simple and to the point -  “We will do it our way - the right way. We will cut no corners, we will formulate, manufacture and sell only the highest quality - efficacious and effective supplements possible. We will not sell “everything” - only select products that we feel there is a need for and a market for. Our products are based in pure science and on in-depth “hands on” studies that quantify their effectiveness in delivering a positive physiological impact.”

We adhere to the strictest cGMP’s (current Good Manufacturing Practices) as put forth by the FDA (United States Food and Drug Administration) and all of our products are manufactured in certified ISO / cGMP facilities with stringent quality controls and audited manufacturing processes. We employ very strict quality control and analytical testing on every batch and production run of every product we market. We guarantee all of our products to be of the highest quality and to be free of any banned, controlled or WADA (World Anti-Doping Agency) prohibited ingredients. From product formulation to finished product you can be confident that every product we market contains what is on our label and nothing else. Every single ingredient in every one of our products are recognized as GRAS (generally recognized as safe) in compliance with the FDA and the Health and Dietary Supplement Act of 1994 (DSHEA).

We are in the process of securing USP Validation and Certification on all of our products through the USP (U.S. Pharmacopeia). The USP verifies the identity, strength, purity, and quality of dietary supplement finished products, dietary supplement ingredients, and pharmaceutical ingredients. Products and ingredients that pass all USP verification requirements–including a GMP audit, product and ingredient testing, and manufacturing documentation review–are awarded use of the distinctive "USP Verified" mark. Participation is voluntary and available to manufacturers worldwide. USP's verification services draw upon its experience of more than 185 years in setting federally recognized public standards for medicines and dietary supplements that are used today in more than 130 countries around the world.
